Terms of business
The standard terms that apply to every Dreambox billboard booking. A signed contract for each campaign sets out the sites, dates and rates and takes precedence over this summary.
1. Rates and quotations
Rates published on this website are monthly rates per billboard face (static) or per screen side (LED), in United States dollars, exclusive of VAT at 15%. Static faces carry a once-off production and installation fee shown on each site page. Quotations are valid for 14 days and are subject to the site still being available when the booking is confirmed.
2. Booking and term
A booking is confirmed when the contract is signed and the first invoice is paid. The minimum term for static sites is normally three months; LED spots can be booked for shorter bursts by arrangement. Campaigns renew only by written agreement.
3. Payment
Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date by bank transfer, cash or EcoCash. Airing or installation begins once funds and approved artwork have been received. Late payment may result in the campaign being paused and the face or spot released.
4. Artwork
The advertiser supplies print-ready or screen-ready artwork to the specifications on the artwork specs page and warrants that it holds all rights to the material and that it complies with Zimbabwean law and advertising standards. Dreambox may decline artwork that is unlawful, misleading or offensive. Creative changes on LED screens are free; reprints on static faces are quoted separately.
5. Installation and maintenance
Dreambox prints, installs, lights and maintains static faces for the life of the campaign and keeps installation records. Static campaigns normally go live within three days of artwork approval and payment. Weather, power supply or road works outside our control may delay installation; in that case the campaign dates are extended accordingly.
6. Interruptions
If a face or screen is out of service for more than seven consecutive days through no fault of the advertiser, the affected period is credited or the campaign extended. Where conditions beyond either party's control continue for thirty days, either party may terminate the booking on written notice.
7. Cancellation
Bookings cancelled before installation forfeit any production costs already incurred. Bookings cancelled after installation are payable for the remainder of the agreed minimum term unless the face is re-let.
8. Liability
Dreambox's liability for any claim arising from a campaign is limited to the fees paid for the affected period. Dreambox is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. The advertiser indemnifies Dreambox against claims arising from the content of its artwork.
9. Law
